Once I get out from work, I'm thinking maybe I'll start with a support-vehicle on my commander and the "two free techs" starting bonus. I am now thinking there's no real need to mod heroes/commanders early because they have resurgence anyway. One mistake I certainly made was to use offensive mods and to also mod my heroes and commander early, thus getting cosmite-starved. Another approach would be sending the scouts to assist my army as air-support, but then I'm a) not scouting and b) the scouts die instead of frenzied and I still need to mass-produce reinforcements. My question is: Am I doing something wrong and my Frenzied should not be dying? Or is everything in order, this is normal and I should just mass-produce more frenzied to keep up my stack? That would really slow me down though, because I'd always have to wait for the next dude to catch up with my army. I fought 720 Army power vs 420 and I'd be guaranteed to lose a frenzied. Apparently, the ranged core units spoiled me hard because I can't seem to make melees work. My previous runs were Syndicate-Synth and some Vanguard earlygame. That's a Paragon mod.) We played Multiplayer so no manual fights unles it's player vs player.Īnd I didn't even get a foot off the ground because my frenzied from my starting army just kept dying. (And I also thought the mod that lets bullets ignore cover was voidtech. So I played a game as Kir'Ko Voidtech yesterday, intent on trying the melee-commander with action-reset on kill.
